Burnside Speech Pathology provides personalised speech therapy services to help children develop effective communication skills and build confidence.
Does your child have difficulty making speech sounds? Is your child difficult to understand?
Our clinicians use standardised formal assessments and informal measures to assess your child’s speech development and form an individual plan for therapy.
Does your child have difficulty understanding language? Does your child have difficulty using language to communicate? Does your child understand and engage in social interactions with others?
Our clinicians use a combination of standardised formal assessments and informal assessments to evaluate your child’s receptive (understanding of language) and expressive (use of language) skills. A tailored therapy plan is developed in collaboration with the family.
Is your child having difficulty recognising sounds and letters? Is your child having challenges with spelling, reading and reading comprehension?
Our clinicians assess your child’s phonological awareness skills (understanding of sounds in words) and assess their reading and spelling knowledge. Our clinicians are trained in the Sounds~Write Australia Program.
